Pastor Dave Beelen: Lead Pastor![]() As lead pastor I mentor and train our Preaching Team (Joy Bonnema, Cisco Gonzalez, Alton Hardy, Brad Knetsch, and Paula Seales), work closely with Pastor Alton to give him direction and guidance in leading Madison At Ford, and along with Pastor Joy Bonnema, give leadership in the pastoral care ministry of our congregation: weddings, funerals, baptisms and the Lord's Supper. [Email] Joy Bonnema: Pastor of Congregational Life![]() As Pastor of Congregational Life I am called to train and equip leaders who will care for and disciple the church so together we grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Key ministries that implement this vision are the Crisis Care Team and Small Groups Ministry. In addition, I have the privilege of serving the congregation through preaching, pre-marriage work, weddings, baptisms, and funerals. [Email] Christy Carlin Knetsch: Director of Youth Ministry![]() As the Director of Youth Ministry, I am privileged to oversee both our Middle and High School Ministries. I also supervise our Grand Rapids Initiative for Leaders (GRIL U) Program, which prepares students for leadership and service in the church and world. Inspiring and equipping adults to invest deeply in the lives of students in grades 7-12 is my passion. I love to be a bridge builder by connecting students to God, each other, their mentors, our church, community, and world. [Email] Laura Carpenter: Director of Diversity and Worship As Director of Diversity and Worship I oversee the work of the AntiRacism team. The diversity side of my job is to lead us toward the vision of "building a community of diverse people" and we do that by celebrating our diversity, building racially reconciling relationships, and working together to understand and dismantle institutional racism. On the worship side, I work to keep our worship leaders and teams connected and striving for excellence. [Email]
Jeremy Ensley: Tech Coordinator![]() I coordinate a team of volunteers to provide sound and video support for worship. I also work in the office, maintaining the copiers, faxes, and other technology we use for the day to day tasks. [Email] Cisco Gonzalez: Madison At the YMCA Campus Pastor![]() I am humbled to be participating in the Preaching Team, the "Four Part Harmony." God's call to shepherd and serve his people has been on my life since high school. The call has six interrelated interdependent parts: be a tangible Christ, preach his word, pray for God's people, teach and encourage God's people to apply His word in life, build loving Christian community, and equip God's people to go and make disciples. I also work at Kuyper College as the Director of Student Life. [Email] Alton Hardy, Madison At Ford Campus Pastor![]() Being on the preaching team is no small thing in my eyes and having the opportunity to share God's word with His people is the greatest feeling in the world. I live life with a holy fear that I must give an account to God for the life with which I have been blessed. I also work at Restorers, a Christian community development organization in Madison's neighborhood, as the Economic Empowerment Program Director. [Email] Brad Knetsch: Madison at Ford Assistant Pastor and Middle School Youth Pastor![]() As Assistant Pastor at the Ford site and Middle School Youth Pastor, I’ve got two missions. One is targeted to youth and the other to a young, vibrant multisite. I serve by coordinating the Ford site and preaching at the Ford site under Campus Pastor Alton Hardy. Yet, I also lead the Middle School Youth program at the Square. So, whether it’s junior highers or senior folk, I go for 'em! It’s my passion to see people at Madison grow in their walk with Jesus. Audrey Laninga: Director of Worship Arts![]() As the Director of Education and Worship Arts, I am accountable to cast a vision for Education. I also select, train, and direct a group of leaders who support this vision, while encouraging the spiritual growth of all who participate. As a co-leader of the Worship Design team, I lead a group who design worship services. The arts ministries which report to me are Dance, Drama, and Visual Arts (banners). [Email] Marisol Martinez: Office Assistant![]() As Office Assistant my role is to assist the Office Coordinator with the daily tasks of running Madison’s office. I also have the privilege of assisting the directors on ministry projects by providing administrative support. [Email] Mark Nieboer: Property Manager![]() As Property Manager, I have oversight of the upkeep and improvement of the church's physical property. This includes supervision of paid custodial staff and a contracted cleaning service, soliciting bids for major repairs or service contracts, and scheduling routine maintenance and inspections. I also coach the Parking and Building and Grounds ministries, which are comprised of volunteers who use their gifts to serve the church as parking attendants, painters, landscapers, lawn care workers, and carpenters. [Email] Lori Robbins: Executive Assistant![]() As executive assistant, I provide administrative and organizational support to the Lead Pastor, Campus Pastor and Executive Director of Ministry. This includes providing support to the staff with payroll, insurance, updating church policies, and manuals.[Email] Ken Schripsema: Director of Children's Ministries![]() As Director of Children's Ministries, it is my privelege to gather and equip teams of Christ followers who work with infants through 6th graders. Our desire is to build the kingdom by connecting with the children and families of our community through relationships and outreach ministries; help children celebrate their faith through growing opportunities on Sunday morning; and encourage them to contribute to building the kingdom by serving the body of Christ. [Email] Paula Seales: Director of Volunteers![]() As the Director of Volunteers I equip volunteers for works of service at Madison Square Church. I am responsible for developing clear pathways for serving as well as spiritual gifts training. I also oversee the Prayer Ministry, Ushers, Greeters, Information Assistants, and a Hospitality Team. [Email] Bill Wiarda: Communications Director![]() As Communications Director I support other departments by helping them communicate their needs and events to our congregation through the website, newsletter, bulletin, and much of our Sunday morning technology including sound and video. Much of my work is behind the scenes, including coaching our Graphic Design Team, Duplicating Team, and Videography Team. Bill's Latest Project [Email] Idella Winfield: Office Coordinator![]() As the Office Coordinator I provide administrative support to Directors in order to free up and meet the needs of their ministries. I am responsible for coordinating paper flow to/from directors, purchasing office supplies and food for ministry events, ensuring the costs are distributed among the appropriate budgets, and scheduling ministry events.
